Royal Pacifique was funded in 1921, during
the glorious era of the Caledonian coffee industry.
For its sub-tropical
climate and its fertile soil, New Caledonia possesses
ideal conditions for growing coffee crops of outstanding
quality, of which the renown Leroy Coffee,
very much appreciated by Winston Churchill.
Our Know-How
The technical skills and traditional know-how of RP's team have
been constantly enhanced over the decades.
Our processes of selecting, drying, warehousing,
roasting and grinding coffee beans strictly
follow the drastic quality and tracing criteria
imposed by the European Union norms.
Our
continuous investments in high
technologies and staff training are evidences
of our professionalism. Further, our vacuum filling
process in specially designed packages allows
us to guaranty the freshest aroma over several
month for our whole product line.
Performances
For decades, Royal Pacifique's mission
statement has been to provide our customers
with products and services of constant and
incomparable quality. This commitment has
allowed us to own two third of the
local market shares.
Our products were also chosen at various
occasions, like the 1996 Elysée Garden
Party and the cocktails held by the Club France
in Sydney during the 2000 Olympic Games.
Projects
Royal Pacifique has joined with local producers
to bring about the renewed growth of plantations
and production facilities for a high quality
coffee: Leroy coffee.
This is the coffee that made New Caledonia
world famous as a coffee producer.
This revitalization of the coffee industry
has been encouraged by the territorial authorities.
We will also be roasting other great New Caledonian
coffees, in particular Yellow Bourbon and
Red Bourbon. Promising young coffee bushes
are now thriving on the Forbidden
Bay Estate.
